blank imageBharat Chudasama earned a diploma in Electronics and Radio Engineering from India. After getting his B.S.E.E. he went on to do graduate work at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles. He joined JPL in 1999 as the Deputy Instrument Manager for the Microwave Limb Sounder (MLS) project and later served as the Instrument Manager through successful delivery of the instrument. Bharat led the Orbiting Carbon Observatory (OCO) project in the formulation phase through Mission Confirmation before joining the JPL Office of Chief Engineer as the Manager of Engineering Technical Authority.

Prior to JPL employment, Bharat managed JPL Scientific and Engineering and Support Services contract at Electro-Optical Systems (EOS) in Pasadena. As part of the long-term relationship under contract with JPL, Bharat managed and successfully delivered Tropospheric Emissions Spectrometer (TES) CDH and Power System, Mars Pathfinder Power and Pyro System, QuickScat avionics electronics, and large number of support equipment. He also led EOS partnership teams partnered with JPL on DS-1 and DS-2 projects. Bharat was the electronics team manager for the JPL's Drop Physics Module (DPM) project and supported DPM scientific operations on two subsequent shuttle missions. Prior to DPM, he worked at various capacities on Cassini Power System, MISTI-2, Magellan Power System and Galileo Power Subsystem. Bharat also work on department of defense projects in various capacities and with increasing responsibilities at EOS.
